About this siteA guide, not a delivery company
Dxdeliveries explains how home delivery of large items works in the UK, from the customer's side of the front door.
Why this guide exists
Buying a sofa or a bath online is easy. Getting it into the house is where things get complicated: service levels with different names, time windows that change, crews who are excellent one week and a depot mix-up the next. Customer reviews of bulky-goods carriers swing between praise for polite, punctual crews and frustration over missed slots and unanswered phones.
This site collects the practical side in one place: what each delivery level means, the usual sequence of messages, how to prepare the route and what your rights are when things go wrong.
What this site does not do
- It does not deliver, collect or store goods.
- It cannot look up orders, slots or tracking.
- It does not take bookings, payments or personal details.
- It is not connected to DX, any other carrier or any retailer.
